Relax in comfort while your guide/driver brings you down along Ireland’s East Coast passing alongside Bray, Arklow, Gorey. Driving through the Glen of the Downs, view of the Sugar Loaf Mountain in the distance.
You will stop at Ferns to view Ferns Castle and if you wish you can view the Ferns Tapestry on display.
Continue through Enniscorthy with Enniscorthy Castle built in the 13th C (open to visitors at certain times) See Vinegar Hill possibly the most famous site of the 1798 rising where during a battle lasting only 4 hours, 20,000 men women and children faced the Crown forces numbering 10.000. 1500 people died during this battle.
On the approach to Wexford town we stop at the Irish National Heritage Park. Consisting of 16 different sites – this is a walking tour through Irish history beginning in the Mesolithic period and continuing up to the Norman invasion.
The visit lasts approx. 2 hours and there is a restaurant on site.

Continue out towards Hook Head to the famous Hook Head Lighthouse. Take the guided tour and listen to the history of the Knights Templar who inhabited this area.
Depending on your time restrictions it might also be possible to visit Tintern Abbey, a fantastic photo opportunity and possibly Loftus Hall. Ireland’s Most Haunted House.
